Become a Friend Of The Kiwanis Family House and support its service to patients and families in need of temporary housing. Our new 32-bedroom facility requires significant financial contributions to operate and your participation in this program will help to reduce costs to residents.
To become a Friend Of The Kiwanis Family House, simply complete the application and mail it, along with the $100 initial membership fee. Annual dues thereafter are $100.
Members are encouraged to exceed $100 annual dues with a larger contributions which will be annually recognized by the Kiwanis Family House Board of Directors. Because this is a new program and we have a new House, Friends of Kiwanis Family House who join during 2008 will be designated as Founding Friends. Suggested contribution levels are as follows:
Copper: $100 - $1,199
Silver: $1,200 - $2,999
Gold: $3,000 - $4,900
Platinum: $5,000 or higher
Friends of Kiwanis Family House will receive information regarding volunteer opportunities. They will also be provided IRS acceptable tax deductible receipts, and will automatically receive a dues invoice on their anniversary date for joining.

Sponsor a Kiwanis Family House family for a night! Simply download and complete the form and mail it to our House Director or donate online . You can sponsor for one night, or as many nights as you can. As always, your donations are tax deductible.

Sponsorship opportunities provide an excellent method of providing a living
memorial for:
- Someone who has been important in your life
- Living and deceased family members
- Someone important in the formation of your Kiwanis Club
- A prominent citizen of the community
- Community benefactor and so on.
Pledge payments may be made over a five year period.

Rights and Privileges of Kiwanis Family House Sponsorship
Sponsor Club has the right to nominate candidates for the Kiwanis Family House Board of Director position at the Annual Meeting, with Notice, as outlined in the Kiwanis Family House By-laws.
Sponsor Club has the right of voting privileges at the Kiwanis Family House Annual Meeting and any other Special Meeting that may be called by the Board with Notice as outlined in the Kiwanis Family House By-laws.
Sponsor Club has the right to volunteer any Sponsor Club member to serve on any Committee named by the Kiwanis Family House Board.
Sponsor Club has the right to receive notice of and to attend all Monthly meetings of the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Family House; to receive Official Minutes and Reports of meetings, Annual Statement of Financial Condition and all other Informational Reports issued by the Board.
Sponsor Club has the right to receive the monthly issue of “House Talk”, the Kiwanis Family House newsletter, and the privilege of submitting articles concerning their sponsorship activities to the House Talk Editor for publication.
Sponsorship Obligations
Sponsor Club is obligated to pay one-time $500 sponsorship fee.
Sponsor Club is obligated to pay annual dues to Kiwanis Family House, as set forth in the Kiwanis Family House By-laws.
Sponsor Club is obligated to offer all or part of the funds raised from at least one major fund raiser project annually.
Sponsor Club is obliged to actively support the Kiwanis Family House New Building Project and to participate in any Campaign Fund raising activities announced by the Board.
Sponsor Club is obligated to contribute Service Hours to the Kiwanis Family House, either in the form of on-site volunteers, donations of food or items needed for operations, or to participate in a scheduled Maintenance Work Day.
Sponsor Club, by reason of their investment evidenced by the Certificate of Sponsorship, are obligated to keep their Club Members informed on the status and progress of the Kiwanis Family House, to arrange periodic visits to the Kiwanis Family House by Members and to support, wherever possible, future Resolutions/Amendments that may come before the California Nevada Hawaii District or Kiwanis International Convention for Delegates approval.
